This powder has been prepared from high quality desi Amla that has been cleaned, sun-dried and ground in most hygienic manner.

Considered a rich source of vitamin C, Iron and Calcium, Amla finds wide mention in Ayurveda. According to Charaka Samhita, Amla is considered as one of the best rejuvenatingfruit. It is considered helpful in boosting immunity, controlling diabetes and reducing bad cholesterol and fortifying the skin.

Our Amla has been harvested from villages in Nainidanda region of Pauri Garhwal district in Corbett landscape and Ramganga river catchment in Uttarakhand. Ramganga river, that rises in the southern slopes of Dudhatoli Hills of Gairsain subdivision (Diwali Khal) is the lifeline of world-famous Corbett National Park. Meandering through the panoramic landscapes and lush green forests, Ramganga feeds farms located alongside its course with pure mineral enriched water.

Amla has been harvested by members of our women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and processed and marketed by our women’s Cooperatives.
